DOGS
& CATS
Leading
on from the work done by John Gordon & Robert Rix on the INFRA-THERM
Heated Horse Rug, it was decided to apply the technology to other animal
products; after all if you can keep something as big as a horse warm,
then going down in size just makes the technical challenges that much
easier.
Gorix
Technology has now found a way to keep domestic dogs warm with a range
of Heated Dog Jackets. The INFRA-THERM Dog Jacket comes in 7 sizes
to keep canines warm, from Chihuahuas to Wolf Hounds. So who said "Hot
Dogs and Conductive Textiles had nothing in common" The Jackets will
be of particular interest to Racing Greyhound owners, who need to ensure
that their animals are warm and supple before events to ensure against
muscle strain and other soft tissue injury.
Power
for the Gorix E-CT elements in the Jackets comes from a battery
that can be either slipped into a special pocket on the Jacket or carried
by the owner in the case of smaller breeds.
Cat
Lovers need not miss out on keeping their pussies warm; cats being more
independent types, didn't go for the INFRA-THERM Kitty Coat that
was prototyped, but really loved to snuggle down in the INFRA-THERM
Heated Cat Basket. Intended primarily for in home use, the basket constructed
from PU coated Nylon is powered by a safe step down transformer that reduces
the mains voltage from the wall outlet to 12 volts, the basket can also
be run from the cigarette lighter in your car if you need to keep your
pussy warm whilst travelling.
Other
animals to benefit from the invention of Gorix E-CT are Reptiles
with the INFRA-THERM Vivarium Heater and small mammals like Rats,
Mice, Hamsters and Gerbils who have had cage heaters designed especially
for them.
